Nexo

HR Business Partner, Argentina

ArgentinaFull-timePosted June 23, 2026

About this role

Driving the next generation of wealth.

Digital assets are redefining how wealth is created, used, and transferred. Since 2018 at Nexo, we have been building the future model of financial wealth - dynamic, accessible, and designed for a new generation of forward-thinking investors.

But technology alone doesn’t drive progress. People do.

We are a team of builders, strategists, analysts, creatives, and operators united by a shared mindset: advancement. We move fast, think long term, and take ownership. We challenge ideas, not people. We value clarity over noise and impact over optics.

What makes Nexo different?

We shape industry trends. We rethink how wealth works and build solutions that reflect that belief.

That requires a certain kind of person.

You will thrive here when you think independently and act decisively, take ownership without waiting for permission, and care deeply about quality, long-term value, and disciplined execution. The people who succeed at Nexo bring analytical depth, sound judgment, and resilience - but also curiosity and the drive to keep improving.

This is an environment for people who want to lead, create, and elevate what already exists. If building what’s next excites you, you’ll feel at home at Nexo.

We are looking for an HR Business Partner to serve as the primary People & Culture point of contact for Nexo's Argentina entity. This is a generalist role with end-to-end ownership of HR business partnering, administration, recruitment, and office management, operating in a fast-paced, international environment with a high degree of autonomy.

Your role:

  • Act as the first line of HR support for managers and employees - handling people matters, performance conversations, and policy guidance.
  • Partner with the Argentina GM on team structure, people decisions, and day-to-day HR operations.
  • Manage the full onboarding and offboarding cycle for Argentina-based employees, including termination documentation, severance calculations, and statutory exit procedures.
  • Support the quarterly performance and OKR cycle locally, working with managers through our performance management tools.
  • Support employees and managers through challenging situations, in close collaboration with P&C HQ.
  • Own employment contracts, employment records, probation tracking, and compensation administration.
  • Coordinate and execute the full payroll cycle - payroll inputs, salary payments, and social security contributions. Knowledge of income tax (impuesto a las ganancias) is a plus.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with Argentine labor law (Ley de Contrato de Trabajo), AFIP/ANSES registration requirements, and applicable collective bargaining agreements (CCTs).
  • Manage benefits administration and support employees on local benefit entitlements.
  • Support recruitment efforts by sourcing candidates, screening them, coordinating interviews, and preparing offers.
  • Serve as the primary contact for the local office space, managing facilities, workstation allocation, and vendor relationships.
  • Monitor regulatory changes in Argentine employment law and escalate material risks to P&C HQ and Legal team as needed.

What makes you stand out:

  • 5+ years of generalist HR experience, ideally in a fast-paced, international, or tech environment.
  • Solid knowledge of Argentine labor law (LCT), AFIP/ANSES processes, and termination and severance frameworks.
  • Experience managing payroll coordination in Argentina, including familiarity with statutory contributions and local payroll providers or tools.
  • Comfortable navigating Argentina's compensation complexity - inflation adjustments, multi-currency structures, and FX dynamics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills - comfortable working with both employees and senior stakeholders.
  • Organized and detail-oriented - able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Experience with HR systems and tools (Lattice, BambooHR, or similar, is a plus).
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.

Nexo Benefits:

  • Competitive and rewarding remuneration package.
  • Hybrid work model: primarily office-based with scheduled home office flexibility.
  • Comprehensive additional health insurance as part of our wellness program.
  • Language class discounts to support continuous personal and professional growth.
  • A dynamic and inspiring environment with cutting-edge projects.
  • Career development opportunities in a global leader driving the next generation of wealth.
  • Fresh fruits, snacks, and a well-stocked office kitchen.
  • Regular department team buildings and company-wide team buildings.
