Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using gm.careers.

Effective: February 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using gm.careers ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use gm.careers. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

3. User Accounts

Accounts are created via wallet connection or OAuth providers (GitHub, Google). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your connected wallet and OAuth accounts.

You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your profile up to date. You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent platform restrictions or inflate reputation scores.

4. Job Listings

Employers are responsible for the accuracy of their job listings. All listings must represent genuine employment opportunities. Listings that are misleading, discriminatory, or violate applicable law will be removed.

gm.careers aggregates job listings from multiple sources and does not guarantee the accuracy or availability of any listing. We are not a party to any employment agreement between users.

5. On-Chain Verification

By connecting a wallet address, you consent to gm.careers reading publicly available blockchain data associated with that address. This includes transaction history, token holdings, governance participation, and smart contract interactions.

All blockchain data used for verification is already publicly accessible on-chain. gm.careers aggregates and displays this data to build reputation profiles but does not store private keys or request transaction signing for verification purposes.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Create sybil accounts or use multiple wallets to artificially inflate reputation scores
  • Submit fake or misleading profile information, skills, or work history
  • Manipulate verification scores through wash trading, fake contributions, or other deceptive on-chain activity
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect user data without authorization
  • Use the Platform for phishing, scams, or any unlawful purpose
  • Interfere with the Platform's infrastructure or other users' experience

7. Intellectual Property

The gm.careers name, logo, and Platform design are owned by us. You retain ownership of content you submit (profiles, job listings). By posting content, you grant gm.careers a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute that content in connection with the Platform's services.

8. Disclaimers

gm.careers is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, the accuracy of verification scores, or the reliability of any user or listing.

No financial advice: Nothing on gm.careers constitutes financial, investment, or tax advice. Job listings may include token-based compensation whose value can fluctuate significantly. You are responsible for evaluating any compensation arrangements independently.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, gm.careers and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of employment opportunities, or fluctuations in token compensation value.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases, but sections that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
