Wallet addresses: Public blockchain addresses you voluntarily connect to your profile
On-chain activity: Publicly available transaction data, token holdings, governance votes, and protocol interactions associated with your connected wallets
OAuth data: Information from GitHub (public repos, contributions) and Google (basic profile) when you authorize these connections
Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and interactions with the Platform for analytics and improvement

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Create and maintain your profile and reputation score
Display verified credentials to potential employers
Match you with relevant job opportunities based on your skills and experience
Improve the Platform's features and user experience
Prevent fraud, sybil attacks, and reputation score manipulation
Send you relevant notifications about jobs and platform updates (with your consent)

3. On-Chain Data Practices

All blockchain data we access is already publicly available on their respective networks. Anyone can view this data using a block explorer. What gm.careers does is:

Aggregate your on-chain activity into a readable profile
Analyze patterns to generate reputation and verification scores
Display relevant activity to employers who view your profile

We do not store your private keys, request transaction signing for verification, or access any data that isn't already publicly available on-chain.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

Keep you signed in and remember your preferences
Understand how you use the Platform (anonymous analytics)
Prevent fraud and ensure security

We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymized usage data may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.

Disconnect wallets from your profile at any time
Revoke OAuth access for GitHub, Google, or other connected services
Delete your account and associated data

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security audits. However, no system is perfectly secure. If you discover a vulnerability, please report it to security@gm.careers.

9. Children's Privacy

gm.careers is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a user under 18, we will delete that information promptly.

10. International Data

gm.careers is a global platform. By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your own. We take appropriate safeguards to protect your data regardless of where it is processed.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the Platform or sending you an email. Your continued use of gm.careers after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
