About this role

About the role

We are looking for an M&A Analyst to support strategic growth initiatives.

This is a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to the full corporate development lifecycle, from market research and target identification through post-merger integration, due diligence and transaction execution.

You will work closely with the Director, M&A and collaborate with stakeholders across the business. The role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, curious about non-traditional industries, comfortable with ambiguity, and motivated by the opportunity to make a visible impact in a fast-moving environment.

What you’ll do

  • Coordinate post-merger integration initiatives and other cross-functional projects.
  • Track project plans, timelines, actions, risks, and stakeholder updates.
  • Conduct market mapping and research across technology, fintech, and other emerging sectors.
  • Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets and strategic opportunities.
  • Support cross-functional due diligence activities.
  • Assist with transaction execution, including analysis, presentations, and internal materials.
  • Support valuation analysis and financial modelling.
  • Synthesize complex information into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Work with stakeholders across different functions to keep initiatives moving.
  • Adapt to changing priorities as deal flow and business needs evolve.
  • What you’ll bring

  • 1-3 years of experience in project management, strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity, deal advisory, corporate development, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • The ability to manage workstreams from initiation through completion.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive approach and a high level of ownership.
  • The ability to work effectively with limited direction and structure.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change.
  • Genuine curiosity about technology, fintech, emerging business models, and non-traditional industries.
  • Nice to have

  • Experience with M&A, corporate development, post-merger integration.
  • Exposure to valuation or financial modelling.
  • Experience in technology, fintech, or another rapidly evolving industry.
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across different teams.
  • Why join us?

  • Work directly with the M&A Director in a lean team with massive learning potential and hands-on guidance.
  • Gain exposure to the full lifecycle of corporate development.
  • Contribute to projects spanning research, evaluation, transaction execution, and post-merger integration.
  • Work across a diverse range of industries and business models.
  • Develop broad commercial, analytical, and project leadership skills.
  • Take on meaningful responsibility in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
