THE WORK:
We are seeking a Strategic Account Executive (North America) to lead the charge in delivering next-generation Treasury & Risk Management solutions across our global finance ecosystem. This is a high-impact role designed for a professional who understands that the future of treasury lies at the intersection of traditional treasury management solutions and blockchain-enabled digital assets. You will be responsible for generating and closing high-value enterprise solutions, articulating how Ripple Treasury provides superior capital efficiency, real-time visibility, and automated liquidity. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of core treasury functions—including global cash management, multi-currency liquidity management, and financial risk mitigation—and can incorporate how blockchain and digital asset capabilities can optimize traditional finance by eliminating fragmented, legacy processes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Enterprise Account Strategy: Serve as the primary strategic lead for a portfolio of high-value enterprise accounts, orchestrating complex sales cycles and aligning Ripple’s global treasury roadmap with large-scale corporate financial objectives.
- Whitespace Analysis & Revenue Optimization: Execute rigorous whitespace analysis within the enterprise tier to identify untapped opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling sophisticated treasury and risk management modules.
- Strategic Pursuit & Expansion: Drive aggressive revenue growth by converting identified whitespace into high-contract-value business, expanding Ripple’s footprint across global subsidiaries and diverse business units.
- Comprehensive Account Sales Planning: Develop and maintain multi-year account plans that map intricate stakeholder hierarchies, budget cycles, and technical roadmaps to ensure a predictable, high-performing sales pipeline.
- Executive Relationship Orchestration: Maintain a high "share of voice" with CFOs, Global Treasurers, and Heads of Risk, positioning Ripple Treasury as the central nervous system for their institutional liquidity and risk operations.
- Deal Leadership & Negotiation: Act as the "CEO of the Deal," coordinating cross-functional teams across legal, product, and compliance to successfully navigate the procurement hurdles inherent in enterprise-grade financial software sales.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Strategic Enterprise Sales Mastery: Proven track record of managing and closing high-six and seven-figure deals within complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise environments.
- Consultative & Value-Based Selling: Expert-level command of consultative selling approaches to uncover deep business pain points and quantify the economic value of digital transformation within the finance function.
- C-Suite Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to build rapport and influence at the CFO and Treasurer level, translating technical treasury capabilities into strategic business outcomes.
- Account Growth: Mastery of whitespace analysis and account mapping to drive expansion revenue.
- Market Competitive Intelligence: Ability to articulate Ripple’s unique value proposition relative to traditional treasury management systems and established financial services competitors.
- Sales Experience: Extensive experience in Senior Account Sales or Strategic Sales, with a documented history of consistently exceeding multi-million dollar annual quotas in the Enterprise SaaS or Fintech sectors.
- Complex Deal Management: Success in managing mid-long cycle sales processes involving deep technical discovery, product demonstrations, legal/regulatory reviews, and global deployment strategies.
- Industry Fluency: Strong understanding of the Treasury and Finance software landscape, including the integration of digital assets and blockchain to optimize traditional capital flows.
- Communication & Presentation: Elite communication skills with the ability to lead high-stakes boardroom presentations and distill complex financial technology into a compelling vision.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; evidence of advanced sales training or certifications is highly preferred.
