  • Build trusted relationships with policymakers and key staff while advancing thoughtful, business-oriented policy solutions

  • Develop company positions on legislative, regulatory, appropriations, and public policy issues at the intersection of financial services, emerging technologies, and national security

  • Anticipate policy developments and translate complex legislative and regulatory activity into actionable business strategy and executive recommendations

  • Represent Chainalysis in meetings with policymakers and key staff, industry coalitions, regulatory consultations, conferences, and public speaking engagements

  • Prepare executive leadership for meetings with senior government officials through strategic briefing materials and policy recommendations

Serve as a Critical Partner to the Business

  • Contribute to the development of the company’s broader global public policy strategy by bringing critical North American insights into international policy discussions

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on U.S. political, legislative, and regulatory developments

  • Work in concert with Chainalysis and Chainalysis Government Solutions (CGS) leadership and account teams to identify engagement opportunities and facilitate strategic policy efforts

  • Work with Communications to develop and publish thought leadership content, blogs, or op-eds to enhance Chainalysis's visibility in policy debates

  • Proactively strategize and identify opportunities for Chainalysis executives to engage with the North American policy and stakeholder environment

Manage External Partnerships & Coalitions

  • Manage U.S. lobbyists, trade associations, and third-party coalitions, guiding messaging and strategy at the working level

  • Attend industry events and represent the company in policy discussions, ensuring a proactive and consistent presence within the industry and with regulators

  • Build and maintain a robust network of policy stakeholders that amplifies Chainalysis's voice in key debates

  • Participate in meetings with customers to provide policy insights and serve as a thought leader in conversations

  • Prepare internal and external enablement materials and communications

We're looking for candidates who have:

  • 10+ years of experience in U.S. government policy programs in fast-paced environments, with demonstrated success winning on legislative and regulatory outcomes

  • Substantive experience in emerging technology, financial services, or national security policy; while prior experience in digital assets is helpful, we place higher value on leaders with intellectual curiosity and substantive ability who can quickly develop expertise in new technologies

  • A command of how Congress and the Executive Branch work, and how to strategically engage with them to advance Chainalysis business priorities

  • A track record of driving successful policy initiatives to achieve enterprise-wide results; as opposed to solely monitoring, this person will have actively shaped relevant policy

AI at Chainalysis
AI is not a feature at Chainalysis - it is a new way of working. One that turns instructions into work done, and helps us move faster than the threats we're built to counter, and we expect our employees to take ownership of the output and ensure quality. As the world's most trusted blockchain analytics platform, Chainalysis sits at a rare intersection of proprietary data, regulatory relationships and crypto expertise that makes it uniquely placed to shape and lead the next era of AI-driven intelligence - and we expect everyone here, regardless of role, to be an active part of it.

AI fluency is tied directly to how we measure performance and how we plan to win. There is no substitute for your own curiosity. We provide the tools, workflows, and space to experiment - but the expectation is that you develop these capabilities yourself, bring ideas, and collaborate across teams to reinvent the way work gets done. We are not using AI to do less. We are using it to do what was never possible before.
