SAFE Security is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Web Developer I to join our Marketing team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are excited about web development, digital experiences, and building high-performing websites.

You will work closely with experienced developers, designers, content marketers, and demand generation teams to maintain and enhance SAFE's website experience. This is an excellent opportunity to learn modern web development practices, WordPress development, website optimization, analytics implementation, and marketing technology.

What You'll Do

• Support the development, maintenance, and optimization of SAFE's marketing website.

• Build and update web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress.

• Assist in implementing responsive designs across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

• Ensure website content, layouts, and components remain consistent with SAFE's brand guidelines.

• Help optimize website performance, page speed, and user experience.

• Support SEO best practices, metadata updates, and structured content implementation.

• Assist with integrating marketing tools, including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, forms, and tracking pixels.

• Troubleshoot website issues and collaborate with internal teams to resolve bugs.

• Participate in testing and quality assurance before website releases.

• Maintain documentation for website components, templates, and processes.

• Learn and contribute to Git-based development workflows and code reviews.

• Work closely with Marketing, Creative, Product Marketing, and Demand Generation teams on website initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.

• Basic knowledge of PHP and WordPress.

• Familiarity with responsive web design principles.

• Understanding of website performance, accessibility, and SEO fundamentals.

• Exposure to version control systems such as Git.

• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar platforms is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Internship or academic project experience in web development.

• Exposure to WordPress themes, plugins, or CMS platforms.

• Basic understanding of Google Analytics, Tag Manager, or digital marketing concepts.

• Familiarity with REST APIs and cloud platforms such as AWS.

• Personal portfolio, GitHub projects, or contributions to open-source projects.
