The Fraud Operations team focuses on resolving customer issues while reducing financial risk across our products. The team investigates and resolves fraud-related alerts, ensuring accurate and timely outcomes for customers. You will work closely with partners in Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Customer Experience to improve processes and maintain reliable operations. As a Senior Fraud Operations Specialist, you will review fraud alerts tied to account activity throughout the customer lifecycle, including onboarding. You will follow established procedures to assess risk, document decisions, and take appropriate remediation actions when needed. You will also communicate directly with customers to gather information, provide updates, and resolve concerns. Your work will help protect customers while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and service!

This role is based in our Denver, CO office(s), with in-person attendance expected at least 5 days per week.

What you’ll do

• You review fraud alerts tied to account activity during onboarding and throughout the account lifecycle
• You document investigation findings and clearly explain the rationale behind each decision
• You communicate with customers to request information, provide updates, and resolve concerns in a timely manner
• You take appropriate actions to mitigate risk based on investigation outcomes
• You utilize AI tools to boost efficiency and output, drive process improvements, and find unique solutions

What you bring

• You have 5+ years of experience in fraud operations, KYC, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• You communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats, especially when explaining complex topics
• You analyze issues and develop practical solutions, including improving workflows or tools
• You collaborate effectively with teams such as product, engineering, legal, compliance, and financial crimes

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + benefits.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
