About This Role

DeFi Engineers build and maintain decentralized finance protocols — AMMs, lending markets, yield aggregators, and derivatives platforms. They combine deep Solidity expertise with financial engineering to create secure, capital-efficient protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement DeFi protocol smart contracts (AMMs, lending, vaults)
Build economic models and simulations for protocol mechanics
Integrate with oracles, flash loan providers, and cross-chain bridges
Optimize gas costs and capital efficiency across protocol contracts
Collaborate with auditors to ensure protocol security
Monitor and respond to protocol health metrics and edge cases

Requirements

3+ years of Solidity development with DeFi protocol experience
Strong understanding of financial primitives (options, futures, lending)
Experience with AMM designs (Uniswap, Curve), lending (Aave, Compound)
Knowledge of MEV, flash loans, and economic attack vectors
Familiarity with oracle integrations (Chainlink, Pyth) and cross-chain messaging
