Governance Leads design and manage decentralized governance systems for DAOs and protocols. They facilitate community decision-making, draft proposals, and ensure transparent, effective governance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement governance frameworks for DAOs and protocols
- Draft, review, and shepherd governance proposals through voting
- Facilitate community discussions around protocol upgrades and treasury management
- Analyze governance participation metrics and improve voter engagement
- Coordinate with legal counsel on regulatory considerations for governance
- Build tooling and dashboards for governance transparency
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in DAO governance or protocol operations
- Deep understanding of governance models (token voting, delegation, quadratic)
- Experience with governance tooling (Snapshot, Tally, Governor contracts)
- Strong written communication and proposal drafting skills
- Understanding of DeFi protocols and treasury management
